Random Acts of Kindness - June 2011

Book Soulmates

The idea behind this is to choose a random person who has signed up through R.A.K. You then purchase a book(s) that is on their wishlist and send it to them. Then hopefully they pay it forward and gift a book to some other random person. And maybe if you're lucky you are gifted a book as well. How fabulous is that?!

This is my third month participating in R.A.K. When I started in April my goal was to send at least one book to a random person each month.

This month I RAK'd Donna at Book Lover's Hideaway with a few books off her wishlist. And she RAK'd me back with these two awesome books. I read both books already and loved them. Thanks again, Donna!

Now lets see your RAK! :-)

Happy Follow Friday!

Hello again everyone! Thanks for stopping by! Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!

Here’s this week’s question:

Q. ACK! Your favorite book/movie character (example Hermione Granger played by the Emma chick) just walked into the room! Who is it and what would be your first reaction? You get extra points if you include visual stimulation.

Two of my favorite book/movie characters are Clare Abshire from The Time Traveler’s Wife & Allie Hamilton from The Notebook both played by Rachel McAdams. Both books were incredible and I think Rachel did a great job playing both these heroines in the movie versions.

Review: THE AUCTION by Kitty Thomas

The Auction
by Kitty Thomas
Publisher: Burlesque Press
Release Date: June 24, 2011
Book Source: Review copy from the Author

Belle Walker lives in a strict society where women are treated as property, sold to the highest bidder soon after their eighteenth birthday. But the auction isn't the only danger. Though she's never seen them, she knows monsters live outside the city. These creatures have allowed the humans a small area to inhabit with the promise to leave them in peace as long as they never cross the boundary. On the day Belle is sold, one of the monsters breaks that promise and enters the city, intent on having her as his own.
~ Goodreads

Book Warning:
This book contains sexual situations of dubious consent, master/slave, multiple partners, girl on girl, alien sex, and oral play.

The Auction takes place on a distant unnamed planet. Annabelle Walker has been on her own ever since her parents were killed by the monsters “out there” years prior. As a part of their society the humans auction off every young woman when she turns eighteen. This is a way for the city to make money to buy supplies from transport ships. Belle’s turn has come up and she is up on the block. She has been working on and pleasuring Stephen Thurman for over 2 years in hopes that he will keep his promise to buy her at the auction and then set her free. Belle is known as a feisty, trouble-maker so no one else bids on her except for Stephen until a mysterious hooded stranger makes an offer and outbids him.

After he pays for Annabelle, the stranger reveals himself to the shock and horror of everyone. He is one of the dragon-winged aliens that inhabit this distant planet. He has come into the city for the first time to buy himself a mate. Belle is both afraid and aroused but then adrenaline kicks in and she decides to run away. But wait. The alien can fly so of course Belle is captured and then flown away to the alien’s cave dwelling high in the mountains.

Annabelle is told to call him Master. He lives with his brother who she is told to call Sir. In this alien society the males share their mates amongst family members and Sir gets the first chance to sex up Belle. Does she consent to this? No. But she doesn’t really have a choice. She worked so hard to gain her freedom and avoid enslavement only to find herself in the service of two big, bad, scary aliens.
“Why didn’t you go with my brother?” His voice came out a snarl. What was I supposed to say to that? I just looked at the ground.

“Answer me!”

His shout pissed me off and suddenly the intensity of my anger matched his own.
“What do you mean why didn’t I go to him? Why didn’t I just go and rip off my clothes and throw myself at the strange alien guy with wings and a cock too big for me? Because I’m not crazy?”

“It’s not too big for you. I know you can take it.”

I put my hands over my ears and squeezed my eyes shut because something in his voice was turning me on, and I knew that wasn’t the appropriate response. These were monsters that were going to kill me.

~Master & Annabelle
Annabelle is Master’s mate but she is also Sir’s plaything. She is attracted to both brothers especially Master and slowly, over time she accepts her fate and begins to enjoy her role as their slave. I can’t tell you about all the kinky things that happened in the cave. You’ll have to read the story to get all those hot, steamy, sexy, delicious details. I will tell you that it filled my smut fix perfectly.

Kitty Thomas’ writing is superb as always. I usually fall in love with her twisted, depraved heroes but not so much with Master and Sir. I mean, I liked Sir who was the “nicer one” of the two brothers and I liked the sadistic Master even more. But I wasn’t in love with them. The nice brother had blue skin and the mean brother had red skin. I’m not sure why but that made me laugh. The sci-fi was very light in this story. I’m not a huge fan of aliens but dragon-winged heroes make me swoon, especially when they use their wings to protect their mates. As is my usual gripe with novellas, this story wasn’t long enough. I’m left with questions about the humans’ and aliens’ back story and I would have liked to see Master’s and Annabelle’s relationship expanded. Sequel, please?!

The Auction gets 4 Dragons.

A Warrior's Witch Blog Tour: Interview with Stacey Kennedy

Hi Everyone and welcome to this stop on the A Warrior’s Witch Blog Tour. I am so happy to have Stacey Kennedy here on my blog today.

AsianCocoa: Welcome, Stacey! Please tell us a little about your book, A Warrior’s Witch.

Stacey Kennedy: First thanks for the interview!!  Now, a little bit about A Warrior’s Witch—I think I’ll let the blurb speak for itself:

Decades old guilt collide with a murder, igniting a battle in a warrior’s soul to choose between love and duty…
Murder has brought Talon, Master of Guardians, as well as Zia, his witch and Master of Witches, to Chicago. The manner of death appears to be a suicide, but Talon is far from ready to close the case. To avenge the Guardian linked to his past, he agrees to take on the assignment, and find her killer.
As they dive deeper into the investigation, they find themselves entering a world where BDSM is the norm. A lifestyle that Zia is uncomfortable with and, rattled by this new development, she is more than ready to return to the Otherworld. But their investigation quickly takes an unexpected twist when they discover that they’re not only hunting a killer but also someone who is controlling supernaturals in Chicago.
Their mission not only brings danger, but also forces Talon to deal with decades old guilt that corrodes his soul. Every event that unfolds only deepens his fight and pushes him to face an ultimate choice—what is more important—his duty to the Otherworld or the witch he holds closest to his heart?
AC: Describe yourself, Twitter style in 140 characters or less.

SK: I’m an avid lover of the paranormal romance, urban fantasy and erotic romance genres. If I’m not plugging away at my next novel, tending to my two little ones, I’ve got my nose deep in a good book. I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband.

AC: How long have you been writing?

SK: I started writing the first Magical Sword book in April 2009, and I haven’t stopped!

AC: In the book, Zia says that she and Talon could never have a youngling together because they are a different species, Witch and Guardian. But Nexi is a mixed being of Guardian, Witch and Fae blood. How did that happen?

SK: To understand, you’d really have to read Nexi’s stories. But to put it simply, she’s special. Because of Nexi’s mother being part fae, it allowed for the species to intermix, something that is unheard of. Those reasons are why Nexi is a mixed being, and why she is given the magical abilities she carries. Without the fae magic, Nexi’s existence would have been impossible.

AC: Will there be a book about the vampires, Zade and Iyana? Will there be any more BDSM elements coming up in future Otherworld books? (Please!)

SK: LOL! Like that element, did you?  Yes, Zade and Iyana will be the next Otherworld Romance I write, which I’ll start sometime in the fall. Since Iyana had a liking to BDSM, I would imagine—without giving away any secrets here—that a few elements of that world will come into play in their book.

AC: How many books do you plan on writing in the Otherworld series?

SK: In truth, I have no idea. I’m not a plotter when I write. I never know what is going to happen until I’m there doing it. So, as long as new characters show up and want their story told, I keep writing them.

AC: If you could trade places with one of your characters who would it be and why?

SK: Easy answer, Rynn. Why? Because I am in love with Briggs (The Blue Bloods), and want him all to myself.

AC: Tell us about some of your quirky habits.

SK: I only have one quirky habit, but it drives my hubby nuts. I don’t refill ice cube trays—EVER! I know I should, yet I leave them empty every time. We’ve been married long enough now he’s used to it, and accepts my laziness.

AC: What was the last amazing book that you read?

SK: Right now, I’m reading Katie MacAlister’s, The Unbearable Lightness of Dragons. Her dragon books top my favorite list. How can they not? You get humor, mystery, danger—all packed together with sexy dragons! Yes, please!!

AC: I know you’re a busy mommy and wife but other than writing, what other things interest you?

SK: I love the outdoors. Camping, canoeing, hiking—all of it! In the summer months, I take off July & August from writing to spend it with my kids! And we do LOTS of these kinds of things. I also take this time to catch up on my reading! I might like to write, but I like to read just as much.

AC: Is there anything else you would like to share with your readers? Any other new projects in the works?

SK: I’ve got one project I’m VERY excited about. It’s another spin-off from the Otherworld. This time it’s Ryker & Sabi’s story. They’ll likely have 3-4 books all of their own, and I must admit out of any story I’ve ever written, the series is my favorite. The first book, TAINTED BLOOD, is complete and currently in edits. It will release at the end of July 2011. Here’s a little look at it:

*Tainted Blood Cover*

Earth Witch, Sabi has been gifted with the ability to see premonitions of the darkness that threatens human lives.  Safe in the Otherworld she adjusts to these new visions…which isn’t going so well.  Luckily, she’s got the sexy Guardian, Ryker to help her work through these visions.  He’s intent to show her how to distance herself from them and help her gain control of life.  Not that it’s really helping.  These visions are leaving her crippled and unable to help pinpoint the killer’s locations to stop these acts from happening.

If that’s not enough to deal with, she soon begins to see vampires on a killing rampage in San Francisco.  Vampires are being born and left to fend for themselves, resulting in innocent lives being taken while they’re in the throes of blood lust. But as Sabi’s visions begin to kick up a notch, personal matters need to be put aside.  And as the mystery begins to unravel, Sabi will begin to see that these visions are getting far more dangerous and that humans are not the only ones at risk―she is…

Stacey Kennedy is an avid lover of the paranormal romance, urban fantasy and erotic romance genres. If she isn’t plugging away at her next novel, tending to her two little ones, she’s got her nose deep in a good book. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband. Be sure to drop her a line at her website, she loves to hear from her readers.

Be sure to follow the tour for your chance to win Stacey’s new book, Tainted Blood.

Review: A WARRIOR'S WITCH by Stacey Kennedy

A Warrior’s Witch

Series: An Otherworld Romance #1

~ Goodreads

I really enjoyed A Warrior’s Witch. There was a little bit of suspense and mystery with very mild undertones of BDSM. Talon is the Master of the Guardians and Zia is the Master of the Witches. I liked the relationship between Talon and Zia. I was hoping that they could find some way to bond and find happiness.

Talon wanted to find out who killed his son’s mother, Whitlyn. Talon and Zia decide to work together to quickly find the killer so that Talon could tell his son Kyden who his mother’s killer was. I was a little confused as to why Talon didn’t seem to have any love connection to Whitlyn. It seems that the two of them had only come together to pro-create. Whitlyn wanted out of her role as a Guardian so she offered to produce a child in exchange for her freedom.

Through their investigations they discovered that Whitlyn and her boyfriend were part of the BDSM lifestyle. Going to Leather Dungeon Club ignited some dormant sexual needs in Zia that Talon had no problem bringing to the surface. Zia’s willingness to experiment seemed to add spice to their relationship. The sex scenes were hot and full of love and tenderness even though they were sometimes a little rough.

There are four Masters: Witch, Guardian, Vampire and Werewolf. I liked seeing all the supernatural characters working together. But I didn’t really understand the Otherworld at first. I think the Masters work together to keep humans safe from evil supernatural creatures. This is my first Stacey Kennedy novel, and I suspect that if I read her earlier books some of my questions would be answered.

Talon and Zia are Masters and although there is no written law that says they cannot fall in love and marry they both feel that if they allow themselves emotional entanglements it would compromise their leadership of their people and the Otherworld. It was heartwarming to watch Talon realize how much he loved Zia and finally give in make their love official.

A Warrior’s Witch was a good paranormal romance read and I am looking forward to reading more of Stacey Kennedy’s work. This book gets 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Happy Follow Friday #6

Hello again everyone! Thanks for stopping by! Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!

Here’s this week’s question:

Q. Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

Romance is most definitely my favorite genre. As far as sub genre it's a tie between paranormal and erotica.

I love my vampires and demons! Add in some smut and I'm a very happy reader!

Save My Soul Book Tour: Interview with Zoe Winters

Welcome to the Save My Soul book tour. I have the pleasure of having Zoe Winters here on the blog for an interview. Hi Zoe and thanks for joining me.

AsianCocoa: Please tell us a little about your book, Save My Soul.

Zoe Winters: Save My Soul is about an incubus who has been trapped in a house in a small southern town for 50 years. Anna Worthington has dreamed of owning this house since she was a child, so the possibility that it might be haunted... or possessed doesn’t stop her. In fact, she’s willing to do just about anything to get Luc out of her barbie dream house. Hijinks ensue.

AC: Describe yourself, Twitter style in 140 characters or less.

ZW: I’m really bad at Twitter. This is both a statement of fact and probably something I would tweet about myself.

AC: How long have you been writing and self-publishing?

ZW: I’ve been writing seriously since junior high. (Yeah, it sounds silly to say I was serious about it back then. But I was. I was sending short stories to magazines and writing middle grade novels in 7th and 8th grade.) I’ve been publishing since November 2008 when I released my debut novella, Kept.

AC: Your Zoe Who? videos are so funny. Episode 8 is my favorite. Do you plan on making anymore videos?

ZW: Maybe. Probably not. I don’t know. LOL. And thanks! They were a lot of fun to make. I’m just horrible at sticking with things like that or podcasting long term.

AC: Save My Soul was my introduction to the incubus. I loved Luc and so did Scarlett the cat! Are all creatures attracted to incubi?

ZW: All female creatures. Incubi are meant to feed from human females but anything female is going to feel a little of the charming spillover. Male creatures, on the other hand will be territorial and jealous.

AC: I know you’re working on the third book in the Preternatural series. Can you tell us a little more about it?

ZW: The third book is a bit of an ensemble cast book. It’s got romance in it, of course, but it’s sort of walking that line where you almost don’t know what to look at if that makes sense. There is more than one thing going on but it all ties together. Most of my plots are generally fairly linear and “one-track”. I’ve got 5 POV characters which is totally new territory for me. And it was one of the things that made it hard to start the book because I’m just not sure how readers will react to me breaking the pattern of two POVs.

I’ve got Z and Fiona, the main H/h. Z is a panther therian who has basically gotten stuck with this wolf pup he can’t really care for because they aren’t the same species. And Z is such a bachelor. He just doesn’t know what to do with a kid.

Fiona is an agoraphobic witch who hasn’t left her house beyond the mailbox in years. She’s got a special gift that allows her to understand the language and needs of animals. So she becomes useful to Z, and Z is very... well, he’s Z and he’s a little morally gray, not in a mean or evil way but just in a Z way. Kind of in a cave man way. He does live in a cave after all.

Then I also have Cole and Jane as POV characters they were the H/h in Mated, the third novella in Blood Lust (and one of the most popular couples). Some big stuff happens in their relationship and this book starts setting some huge things in motion, the effects of which will start to be seen later in the series, probably by at least book 6.

The fifth POV character is Cain. He was the villain in Save My Soul, but in this book (which has no title yet), we get to see a little bit of how he interacts with his own people. To humans, he’s someone to really worry about and steer clear of, but to his own kind, it’s different. He actually cares about his people. This book sort of serves as his “save the cat” book, which is where we (the general “we”, not my multiple personalities) take a villain and show him start to change or show different sides of him so readers in this case will accept Cain as the hero of book 4, which is his and Tam’s book. And let me just say... Tam has really been holding out on us. You’ll see what I mean in book 4.

AC: You have not revealed the title of the book yet. What is your process in coming up with the titles to your books?

ZW: Hehe. I haven’t revealed the title because I haven’t thought of a good one yet. I’ve thought about “Catalyst” because so much gets set in motion in this book. But, then I also know that if the title isn’t “romance-y” it’ll be harder to reach the demographic and sell it. I don’t want a gimmick-y title, though. I might run a book-naming contest if I can’t figure something definite out soon. And generally a title just comes to me. And it fits. And we’re done. This time, not so much.

AC: If you could trade places with one of your characters who would it be and why?

ZW: Tam. I’m jealous she gets Cain. He’s my favorite. He really shouldn’t be, but he is. He would definitely tell me I was a stupid trollop for going home with him. (Something he says to a woman in book 3.)

AC: Tell us about some of your quirky habits.

ZW: I don’t think I really have any quirky habits. But then the crazy think they are sane. This is probably a question for someone who knows me well. :P I’m sure they could come up with quirkiness.

AC: What was the last amazing book that you read?

ZW: Matched by Ally Condie

AC: Other than writing, what other things interest you?

ZW: Spinach dip and clothing stores that smell like the ocean (usually these stores are found near the ocean).

AC: Is there anything else you would like to share with your readers? Any other new projects in the works?

ZW: Well, I’m working on books 3 and 4 back to back because what I’d like  to do is release the books close together, maybe two weeks apart. I think it might really drive sales and rankings. The drawback is it means it will take a little longer to get book 3 than it would if I was releasing books like a normal person would. (Maybe we can make this the answer to my quirky habits.) The plus side is that as soon as you finish book 3, book 4 is right there. (Or, well, it depends on how fast you get it and read, but a two week waiting period is pretty awesome for a book!)

Author Bio: Zoe Winters writes quirky and sometimes dark paranormal romance. She lives with her husband and two cats, and her favorite colors are rainbow and clear. For more information visit:

Happy Follow Friday! #5

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!

Hello again everyone this is my 5th FF so Thanks for stopping by!

Here’s this week’s question:

Q. The magic book fairy pops out of your cereal box and says "you and your favorite character (from a book of course) can switch places!" Who are you going to switch with?

I know she will get picked a lot but I want to be Mac from the Fever series. JZB is HOT!!

I would have picked, Merit from the Chicagoland Vampire Series cause she really is a kick-ass chick but then I wouldn't get to have Pri-ya smex with Barrons! :-}

Review: Save My Soul by Zoe Winters

Save My Soul
by Zoe Winters
Publisher: Incubooks
Release Date: January 31, 2011
Series: The Preternaturals Book 2

All he's asking for is her soul.

After buying the antebellum home she's fantasized about since childhood, Anna Worthington discovers Luc, a dangerously seductive incubus who has been trapped in the house by a fifty-year-old curse. To rid herself of her problem house guest she'll call on a priest, gypsies, ghost hunters, and the coven of witches from lust bunny hell. All she has to do is resist him long enough to break the spell so they can go their separate ways. If she doesn't, she could die. And that would be the best case scenario.

~From Goodreads

I decided to read Save My Soul after seeing the book trailer on one of my favorite author’s (Claudia D. Christian) website. I figured if she liked it and was recommending this book then I might like it too.

In Save My Soul, I received my first introduction to the incubus demon. This was quite an intriguing creature for me since I’m all about the smut. The smuttier the better and reading about a demon that survives off the sexual energy of females seemed really hot!

Anna Worthington has just returned to her childhood town of Golatha Falls, Georgia to settle some affairs from her late father’s estate. Not wanting to stay in town for longer than she needs to, Anna starts to head out but decides to take a detour down Cranberry Lane to look at a house that she has been in love with since childhood. The house is for sale and while taking a tour of the house, Anna feels compelled to buy it.

Soon after moving in Anna starts to hear things go bump in the night. It starts out with objects getting moved around, her television being turned on automatically and seemingly stuck on the Food Network channel. She had heard the house was haunted by a ghost named Beatrice and just assumes that is who is haunting her. But then one night during an attempted date rape, Luc appears out of nowhere to defend her against her assailant.  To her horror she realizes that she is not being haunted by a harmless old lady but a scary demon.

Luc is an incubus demon who has been trapped in the house ever since a witch named Beatrice cursed him 50 years ago. He and Beatrice had been lovers but Beatrice could not accept Luc’s need to feed from other females. Their love affair ends tragically in death leaving Luc to haunt the various families that live in the Cranberry Lane house or live alone when the house is empty.

Luc falls in love with Anna. He bonds her to him to keep her safe from other incubi and won’t allow her to leave him for extended periods of time.  He flirts with Anna and taunts her shamelessly but she still will not give in to his numerous attempts at seduction. Anna knows that if she doesn’t figure out how to break the curse that she will end up becoming another meal for Luc.

To buy herself some time, Anna brings back a harem of prostitutes for Luc to feed from. For real?  Yes. That move was laugh out loud funny to me. ‘Here honey, here’s some other kitty cat for you to play with. Now leave me the hell alone.’ Well played, Anna! I almost felt sorry for Luc. He wasn’t even a little excited at the prospect of having five live-in lovers. All he wanted was Anna.

“You know it could be so good. You have to feel this thing between us. Those other girls, they’re just food. It doesn’t mean anything. You’re the one I want.”

She rolled her eyes and chucked a pillow at him. “Yes, the male argument from time immemorial. They don’t mean anything. It’s just sex. Bullshit. I told you I cannot and will not share.” ~ Luc & Anna

Save My Soul had a lot going on in it. There were several quirky characters that added depth to the story and Zoe Winters did a great job with the dialogue in this book. The snarky banter between all the characters was humorous and I loved the interactions between Luc and Anna. I was rooting for them throughout the book as I really did like Luc a lot. A whole host of supernatural characters tries to help Anna break Beatrice’s curse. But in this twisted ending,  Anna is the only one who can save Luc.

Save My Soul gets 4 out of 5 stars.

Review: Wicked Seduction by Jade Lee

Wicked Seduction
by Jade Lee
Publisher: Berkley Sensation
Release Date: March 1, 2011

A MAN INTENT ON JUSTICE...
After seven years of battling for survival on a pirate ship, Kit Frazier returns to England to right a wrong and make peace with what he lost. But once in London, he finds himself unexpectedly at sea, caught in his swirling attraction to the beguiling and elusive Maddy.

A WOMAN DETERMINED TO BE FREE...
Maddy will do anything to escape the desperate circumstances of her life, and helping her cousin Rose catch the man of her dreams seems an easy enough task--until Maddy meets the handsome pirate captain Kit. The dashing rogue has only two purposes: to rescue the boy in his care and to seduce Maddy into his bed.

A LOVE WITHOUT END
With each heated encounter, Kit pulls Maddy off her stated course. But when treachery threatens them all, she will have to choose between a respectable future and wicked, wonderful seduction.
~ Back Cover

Wicked Seduction is a historical romance that takes place in London, England. There was plenty of action and conflict with a strong level-headed heroine and a dashing flawed hero.

This book starts off with a lot of action as Kit is in the process of saving a young man from his former fate of enslavement. He has returned to the same slave ship he was tortured on to kill his former master.

Kit Frazier is a former pirate slave who has bought his freedom and is just returning to London after being away for 7 years. The many years he spent as a slave have left him physically and emotionally scarred. He suffers horribly with nightmares and flashbacks of his past life. He fears that the “savage beast” within him will never allow him to live in polite society.

Madeline Wilson has lived with her Uncle and cousin ever since her father died. She runs the Earl’s household and has helped to raise her cousin Rose. The mating Season is about to start in London and Maddy and Rose are preparing to find themselves husbands. The Earl has given both of them ultimatums that if they do not become engaged during this Season they will both be out in the streets. At the ripe old age of 27, Maddy feared she would never find a suitable husband.

There was instant chemistry and attraction between Kit and Maddy when they meet for the first time at Kit’s cousin’s house. But Kit’s internal conflict kept him fearful of hurting Maddy so he continued to deny his feeling for her. Although they both knew they loved each other that conflict as well as Rose’s meddling kept them apart.

Maddy was very patient with Kit and helped him to get through his anger and depression issues. When Kit’s anxiety overwhelmed him Maddy was always his strong and solid anchor who helped to pull him out of his downward spiral. But Kit was not a completely helpless man either as he was very protective of his “angel”. After finding out that her Uncle was spreading scandalous rumors about Maddy that tainted her character and just about ended her chances at finding a husband. He forced the Earl to give Maddy a huge dowry in exchange for his life and good reputation. Even after threatening her uncle, Kit still feels conflicted about his feelings for Maddy and can’t give her what she truly wants – marriage and happily ever after. After Kit left London to find his family, I was afraid that Maddy and Kit would not make it. They seemed perfect for each other as they were both each other’s strength.

What I liked about this book was although Maddy was the virginal, lower-class pauper she was the one that rescues Kit from his internal demons and saves his sanity. It seemed at times she was the seducer. As she slowly brought him out of his traumatized past, a loving strong man emerges. I like the idea of a flawed, vulnerable hero and headstrong heroine. This novel was full of romance and the love scenes between the two were beautiful and very steamy.  I loved the way Kit took control and how he lovingly treated his angel, Maddy. This was the first novel that I have read by Jade Lee and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Wicked Seduction gets 3.5 out of 5 stars

Hello again everyone this is my 3rd FF so Thanks for stopping by! I have a giveaway of a fantastic paranormal romance, Dead Undead or Somewhere in Between by J.A. Saare that ends on Saturday, June 4th so be sure to enter.

Here’s this week’s question:

Q. What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.)

I think bats, guns, mace, acid and a fully stocked pantry are all necessary for an impending zombie apocalypse.
I have absolutely NO comment about Mel Gibson. O_o
